Batting Practice Banter In Ogden
A Conversation With Manager Michael Schlact
The Missoula PaddleHeads are coming down the back stretch of this 12 game road trip entering the weekend with 3 games remaining against the Ogden Raptors. The PaddleHeads offense has been a big story having tallied 39 runs in their last 2 games combined in a pair of victories. A lot of hands have played a role in this success and it is clear that Michael Schlact's group is making strides.
This team was built differently than it has been in the past with a new group of core players. First year players like Enzo Apodaca, and Tyler Stone have become core players on this roster and look to have promising futures. This team is playing a different brand of baseball as well with speed, and defense being points of emphasis. For Schlact the process of putting this team together began last September after a disappointing result in the Pioneer League Playoffs.

The PaddleHeads (5-4) look to make it 3 in a row opposite the Raptors (3-6) on Friday night in game 4 of this 6 game set. First pitch from Lindquist Field is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Hear the call on ESPN Missoula 102.9 F.M.
