Klemp Placed On Inactive List Tuesday
PaddleHeads Catcher Heads To 10-Day Inactive List
The Missoula PaddleHeads are coming down the back stretch of their 2025 home schedule hosting their final regular season home games at Allegiance Field this week. Missoula welcomes a new opponent to the Garden City doing so opening a 3-game series Tuesday night with the Grand Junction Jackalopes. This marks the first time Grand Junction has made an appearance in Missoula since 2022. In recent games a pair position players have been notably absent from the starting lineups. One of these regular starters has been added to the inactive list.
Nich Klemp, and Adam Fogel both were out of the lineup for the majority of last week's series with the Idaho Falls Chukars. Both players appeared last on August 20. The PaddleHeads have decided to place Klemp on the 10-Day Inactive list retroactive to the 20th with a lower body injury. There was no corresponding transaction with this roster move. Missoula currently operates with 24 players on the active roster.
Fogel will remain on the active roster as of Tuesday. Fogel exited action on August 20 after being hit by a pitch and has not seen gametime since. Both Fogel, and Klemp have been seen taking part in regular team drills, and batting practice in recent days. Both players will be monitored in the coming days.
Both players have enjoyed great success with the PaddleHeads in 2025. Fogel leads the team in batting average (.403) in 75 games played while also tallying 33 home runs and 104 RBIs. Klem has been no slouch himself in 53 games finishing with 14 home runs with a .340 batting average. Both players will now look to get themselves back in top form ahead of the end of the playoff push that awaits.
The PaddleHeads (59-25) open a 3-game series with the Jackalopes (36-48) on Tuesday evening at Allegiance Field. First pitch is slated for 7:15 p.m. This will be the beginning of Missoula's final home series of the 2025 regular season. The PaddleHeads will return however for the Pioneer League Playoffs hosting Round 1 in Missoula. This best of 3 series begins on September 11. Head to the ballpark to be a part of the excitement in person or tune in on ESPN Missoula 102.9 F.M.
